    Problem with MU

Our V9.0.1 MU system crashed on one site

Tried to enter MDB from Access and it asked to repair MDB

Made a copy and then repaired the relevant site

Site opens ok on main admin station but will not open on other computers but comes up with error

    Business plus user
Actinic failed to open dsn "(actiniccatalogv9)"
    Database corrupt or version newer

Jet engine cannot open the file (unknown)

Any suggestions how I can get the other computers to open actinic as they all show this message

Main computer happy with all sites

Three computers which will not open were all logged into the site which required the repair at the time

I assume you've closed down all the pcs and network link and powered it all up again?

Chris, do these PCs auto update Windows as i've had a very recent update and it might be a reason as to why things have suddenly gone AWOL.

          No updates

The three computers were on the same site and just suddenly came up with an error

After checks etc I found i could not log into that site with the main computer, so tried to open mdb with access 2000, on opening it said the db should be repaired so i made a copy and then operated repair
this enabled my main computer to open the faulty site but non of the others can and when you try it shows this error messages just before it asks for the password

I feel ive been here before sometime and need to open the slave computers on another site first, but forget how to do it

              Hi Tracey

We have 7 sites with only one british-nurses with the problem on the slave computers

Do you meanbrowse to the site1 folder and do this or browse to the "british-nurses" folder?

                  Thanks Tracey

                  That solved it

It seems total ilogical to me why it should work but it did and all we did was copy a file and rename it

                  Mind Boggles as always

Thanks again and to others for their suggestions

By the way, the command prompt to open MU in another site if you get locked out a site is:-

                    "C://Program Files\Actinic v9\Catalog.exe" -s "site 1"

"Site 1" can be changed to any other site you have but is case sensitive

Hope you never need it but may be handy
