    Problems with cart

Whats the best way to identify a problem with my cart. Can't for the life of me work out what is going on here but getting a 500 error when adding product to cart. I have a basket button on product level and also on extended info. Was having problems with duplicates and inconsistant stockcodes so removed all duplicates for the time being. CGI script seems ok, view cart and checkout both working but adding the products just brings up 500 error.

Have tried refreshing site and have checked all permissions and all inorder and started to loose the will....

On having a quick look I would have said it was a permission issue on the cgi files in question, however I noticed you said you checked this (?in cgi-bin? set to 755) and I also noticed search and mailform scripts are performing correctly.

I would try a compact of the Actinic database, then a purge and refresh to ensure all the correct CAT files are uploaded and referenced correctly.

will take another look but all settings seem ok. I think I must have done something as I'm sure it did work not so long ago (didn't have the BASEHREF so css wasn't working) but sure it was showing in the cart summary.

With Pinbrook, so will ask to make sure its nothing server side but surly the rest of the stuff wouldn't work?

Thanks for looking though your contact form came through

        Im getting:

The problem is on the server side, not with your browser or the address. Most probably, a certain service (e.g., Tomcat engine) is down. Please contact your webmaster.
Try incrementing your cgi script number by 1 in network settings
