We have an Actinic Business V9 B2B site where all customers are listed in a 'Trade' group. The default Retail group is empty. All customers therefore pay the list price shown.
A new customer group has been set up to offer a 10% discount. We configured it using a price discount of[list price x 0.9].
Any new accounts in this new group, see after they log in, two prices - Gross and Nett. This is good because buyers can see they're getting a discount.
If however we simply transfer existing customers from the main Trade group into the new Discount group, those buyers only see a Nett price (90%). They don't see that they're getting it cheaper.
Do we have to recreate customers from scratch when we want to put them in the new Discounted group?
