Retrieve Orders freezing

Hi,

I have built a website for a customer who is having a problem with the 'retrieve orders' button.

He is able to upload the site without issue but, when retrieving orders, the software freezes. He has reported that, after having left it, the program has still been inactive after an hour.

I have tried everything I can think of. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

What OS is he running?

PS Why is the site called fleurtations but the url is different?

Fleurtations is just the name of the shop...

I believe he's running XP. The strange thing is, orders downloaded fine when I went through the software with him and have since stopped working.

Hi,

I take it that you have tried turning firewalls off etc? Have you tried downloading the orders to a different pc? Maybe the customer could upload his site in 'Test Mode' and see if he gets the same problem when placing test orders on the site. If so, then maybe you could try downloading them to your pc (using the test settings and not the live ones). That might start to narrow down where the issue is coming from.

I see they're using "Interflora" as a keyword, although they don't appear to be members. Even we, as members are not allowed to use it. You should remove that immediately because they will come down hard on your client when they discover it - and they will because they have a team who scan the web constantly for abuse of their trademark.
