    Problem With "Hiding Sections"

I need to hide a "Trade" section from retail customers and found this KB about it:

    http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=44803

only problem i can see is that it doesnt work... it hides the sections on the "products page" but not on the menu at the side, am i missing somthing here?

Test Link: www.herbalandhealth.co.uk buy somthing and mention actinic and you might get a discount as well (got to love shameless plugs...)

    Ste00,
I don't think you are missing anything at all. I had the same problem with a 'trade-only' site. Most (but not all) trade customers had bespoke products and we wanted a section called 'Your besposke products' to appear in the left hand menu after sign-in. However, I couldn't get the Bespoke section not to appear to customers who did not have bespoke products. . .
We settled on the catalogue section 'Your bespoke products' only appearing at the top of the centre section of the Online Catalogue page.
As far as I can understand it, the left hand menu section is not re-run after visitor sign-in and cannot contain asp code. If anyone has found a way around this, I'd love to learn.
