Feature request: ability to have any filetype

i notice that i'm still locked to certain filetypes for sections, such as html, php, etc.

but what if i want '.fudge'?

can this be done? is this a feature in the latest beta, its not on my computer here at the moment.

We support the following as page name extentions:

.js, .php, .php3, .asp, .cfm, .css, .htm, .html, .shtml, .vrml

but what if i want '.fudge'?
That doesn't seem to be a valid extention that a browser would recognise. Is there one that we don't support that you do want in particular?

That .php3 is somewhat showing Actinic's age.

I've a feeling that some servers out there now use .php5 as an alternative to .php. I think that 1&1, for example, process .php pages via PHP v4 and .php5 via PHP v5.
