Images not showing

I'm having a strange issue with a good few of my images.

Basically when I preview in Actinic they appear fine, however after uploading and viewing in IE7 a red cross is appearing instead of the image.

When I paste the URL of the image into my browser... for example :
http://www.pet-bliss.com/acatalog/Al...eThumbnail.jpg

I get the message "Access Denied / Forbidden"
in more detail :
403 Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /acatalog/ColouredNickelIDTagDogMotifRedThumbnail.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

I have tried changing permission on the files, deleting them and uploading the site again and deleting the files and manually uploading them without success.

Anyone any ideas ?

If you ftp into the server, are the missing images actually there?

Not related but you really need to look at reducing those file name lengths for both pages and images.

Following on from mike, if the images are not there try manually uploading one to see if it shows, also try changing them to a gif files and see if they work.

When I ftp onto the server, the images are actually there... I have tried manually deleting them and then ftp'ing them back up and that still hasn't worked...

Problem solved !!
I contact my hosting company and they changed something on my account.
