Showing the weight on Extended info page?

In V8 is it possible to show the weight of the product in the extendedinfo layout?

I can see no reason why not, add the variable (called something like shipping info) into the layout and try it. The variable should be available from the variable insert list.

I have done that and has worked a treat thank you.

Mission 2 = Could it be possible for any products listing in the shopping basket to also include the weights so the customer can work out the shipping before they go through the checkout stages?
