I think you should tell them about your house move, that will make them realise this latest problem is not quite that frustrating in the run of things

Would it be of any interest on the "Your V9.0.3 Upgrade Set Up" thread if people stated whether the compressed upload feature was used or not.

Is it just me not explaining things properly?

          Hi Darren,

It wouldn't hurt to add it, however we don't believe the issue is to do with the compressed upload feature. However, it would be handy to get a nice overview of everyone's settings.

            Here's a little thought.

Oracle have a online system called MyOracle where they provide a little routine that picks up the paid subscribers hardware/software configuration. When support calls are raised, technical staff know exactly what the setup is and therefore help resolve problems that much quicker.

Perhaps Actinic could look at doing something similar for their Cover customers. If & when a major problem occurs, they can see how many sites are potentially affected and what the possible impact on customers business could be.

give people a chance to read, reflect and do other stuff and maybe they'd contribute/comment
              It's just 'bumping' otherwise!

                      Products missing

                      Hi all.
I can confirm that this problem DID occur for me with the Beta version (second release) but due to pressures of work I reported it a bit late.
I am convinced it's caused by the new method of refreshing the website, as mine was fine on the first upoad in test mode, then it "crashed and burned" big style after I made a very minor change to the site, a large number of products and all fragments vanished during site refresh. And being cynical and paranoid I was watching the upload progress reports, and it was NOT uploading products after deleting them!!
1st beta version was fine, it was number two that was a disaster for me.
No I didn't us file compression, just a standard refresh in test mode on an Actinic hosted website thank (deity of personal choice) that I was in test mode at the time.
How the **** did this one get as far as beta, let alone any further???
Just because you are paranoid it doesn't mean they are not out to get you. It means you really know what's going on.

Possibly connected but IMHO not the cause. My reasons, because i have no products in offline preview. change the layout to something slightly different and they reappear, upload and they are there.

I seem to be having the problem that I can't 'Full Ship' ANY orders anymore.
Even though I ship all products in the order, everytime I go to print the invoice it tells me not it's not complete.

This used to happen on my 9.0.2 when it crashed whilst I was viewing that particular order, but now it happens with EVERY order.

Could you send me your site snapshot, so we can investigate this issue? Please contact me via email so I can let you know how to get the file across to me.

There is a way around this for future orders (but requires lot of clicking)

                            Take payment for order
                            Click OK
                            Click OK (closes order)
                            Reopen order
                            Ship items
                            Click Apply
                            Click OK (closes order)
                            Order will now print

You'll have to go into the database and make some alterations to get the current "stuck" orders to print. But this requires some courage, a stiff whiskey, copy of Access and a snapshot prior to attempt.
