Your V9.0.3 Upgrade Set Up

Hello all,

I have no doubt that most, if not all users are aware of the issues that have been mentioned with regard V9.0.3

I thought, as some of us have upgraded successfully some unsuccessfully, that it would be worth detailing our individual set ups in this thread.

I'm hoping that this may highlight the root of some of the issues we have seen.

Please keep the details to purely fact, no speculation thanks.

So:

Upgraded the same snapshot twice - on two separate machines.

1. Upgraded from Version? 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 to Monday's 9.0.3 - both Business Plus.
2. Did you uninstall? No.
3. Operating System? Windows XP SP2 (9.0.1) and SP3 (9.0.2)
4. Snapshot file size? 201mb
5. Problem found? 9.0.1 upgrade on XP SP2 had missing fragments (products within sections were okay) - fragments appeared on preview but disappeared on upload, opening the database in Access and letting Access repair the database itself fixed this, not sure of the root cause, though. 9.0.2 upgrade on XP SP3 gave the following errors several times on the upload:

A page named 'C:\Program Files\Actinic v9\CGC\SiteHTML\Churchill_Range.html' has already been generated for the section 'Churchill Range'. The same page name is used for the section 'Churchill Range' and therefore the previously created page will be overwritten.

Do you wish to continue the upload?

As yet, no other issues have been found with the 9.0.2 to 9.0.3 snapshot - I'll update this post if need be.

All done on a new install of V9.0.3 Beta 2. All uploaded sites on a test server (live linux server using different sub domains for each site)

Subsequently upgraded all above to V9.0.3 full by installing the new release over the beta with no problems on uploading.

Also I'v found when I open Actinic is that:

first time I open Actinic I was missing products and the second time I was not but again today I am missing products.
