Discounts Based on Quantity

I'm trying to figure this out, but can't see a way around it.

Basically I have a group of products

GROUP DOG FOOD

I have about 20 different products in this group

I want a set price if the customer buys 1-9 bags

If they buy 10-19 bags, I want to give them a different price (which is not a % reduced price)

If they buy 20+ bags, I want to give them another different price

I was trying to do the discount on quantity but its applying it to all products in the group and they are all different prices so thats not working.

I was going to setup a group for each product but the discount is across all 20 products so that won't work.

Any help greatly appreciated !! (hope this makes sense)

Don't use groups.
Use the price tab within the product.
There you can set different prices based on the qty purchased per product

I'm looking in the prices tab of the products and I can't see an option to change the price based on quantity. All I can see is to change the price based on customer group...

Hello, I am a total novice too but have just being doing this very thing on my site.
In the prices tab, add another retail line, then move across to the MIN column, add your number ie 5. and a price. You have just created a price for 5 or more items!. Repeat again for each price break you require.

I dont seem to have that option.

In the prices tab I have

Customer Group Price Generated Enabled Product Visible Customer Message Currency

There is no MIN

you might have to have Customer Groups set up for that to show

other than that what version are you using?

I have customer groups setup. I'm on 9.0.2
