I have v9 multi-user working Ok with one exception, on the second pc (i.e. the one accessing actinic site through the network), page preview is missing any product images and is displaying the error message “bad image” and then the path to the file which is c:\, etc. which does not exist on that pc. So my question is can I get the product small images to display, a point in the right direction would be appreciated (I have checked the setup guide but this seems to be for v8).

The directory is shared but because Actinic is looking for the image files using the path in the Image field which is the C drive on the other machine therefore the path is invalid on the networked pc as it is looking locally i.e. How do I get Actinic look on the other pc, should you be able to display them?

I've not encountered the problem myself, so just throwing in some ideas, but my initial thought is that they need to be on a shared drive in a shared folder, so the full file location is identical for any machine. I would have thought this was catered for though i must say in some way. Perhaps people copy the image folder in between PCs, all sounds a bit clunky though. Be good to hear what people do in this situation.
I had a similar problem recently where my client kept all images on a shared drive, it was V7, so when he snapshots, the image do not come over as part of it. We resorted to him sending a CD of the folder to me and i then mimiced his setup this end. It worked great.

The small images are in a directory off of the Sites directory which is shared. It is this same path that the slave is looking for the file but on the slave pc hence them not existing. It opens the site ok but appears not to know the images are on the same machine as the site itself.!
