    Help system errors

Why am I getting the following error when I click on a link in the help pages:-

    Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page

    Line 1
    Char 1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
    Code 0
URL (it gives the URL of the page it's trying to access)

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
    Yes No

    Hi Line

Are you talking about in the inbuilt help within actinic?

Is your browser working OK normally?

Yes my browser is working fine. However, my dfault browser is Opera - could this be the problem?

Could be linked to your browser i guess, as Opera is used relatively little these days, so probably not something that crops up too often.

                Actinic Business Plus V9

                IE7 - fully up-to-date.

Is it clicking on external links that would launch a browser (in your case, opera) that is causing it? Or just internal help file links?

I can't see how it would have anything to do with your default browser, if it's giving an Internet Explorer error?

Have you tried setting IE7 as your default, just to rule it out?

Well, I agree with you in that it's giving an IE script error. However, is that because Actinic is trying to run an IE script in Opera - I'll try re-setting default to IE temporarily.

This only happens from internal Help file links btw.

Changed to IE as default but problem persists!

Nobody got any ideas on this then? How about somebody from Actinic?
