    Help with Product Table

This is the first time I have posted on this forum so a bit apprehensive!!

I am hoping you might be able to help me with a problem I have building a product table. I have taken the No Image No Description Laid Out In Single Line layout and put HTML table codes in to emulate the product table on our current website(www.Thevitaminservice.com - not actinic) but I cannot get the cells to be a fixed width and wrap text. The description bit seems to wrap Ok but the product reference does not and the header row which I created in Bare Product List does not line up due to the dynamic size changes of the actual product details. i also get double lines between cells but I think I may have found how to deal with that _ any help apprecaited though. I am currently using a trial site so you can see the problem at http://trials.actinic.com/trials/tri...9/Biocare.html. I have just loaded V9.0.3 IMMA and running on a small desktop at the moment with just test information.

If I am in totally the wrong place then sorry - point me in the right direction.

I don't know what else you need to know so please let tell me if there is anything else.

What you've done is put each product in its own table, hence all the cells are different sizes.

If you really want to lay it out in a table (which probably isn't the best way to do it but if you're happier doing it that way then so be it), enclose the whole list in one table - so open the table and add a row for the for the header, and for each product in the list rather than opening a new table tag just open a tr tag and close it after the product. Then close the table after the list of products. That way they'll all be in the same table and it'll look uniform and you won't get a double border between products (bottom border from one table, top border from the next)

    /EDIT

Which is incidentally exactly how your current site is laid out - one table and each product in a new row...

      Thanks

Thanks for your help. I have aborted that idea and gone for something a bit simpler for now.
