Snapshot problems in v9.02

Just upgraded from 8.3 to 9.02 and have tried to export to a snapshot for the first time. After awhile Windows closes the operation down.

Any ideas as to why this has happened and how the matter may be resolved?

Anybody else experienced the same problem?

Compacting the database is always a good starter for 10 (housekeeping > compact database)... that usually cures most ailments.

If that still fails look in Settings | Site Options | Layouts ... check that every field has something in there even if it is just "use parent" ... sometimes during an upgrade the fields get left blank and this will kill a snapshot and an upload fatally (the price options seem to be a favourite that are missed and this is the first thing that I check after an upgrade)
