    Importing Orders Not Working

    We run Actinic on 2 machines, one for order processing and one for design etc.

    We "Import Orders" from the Order Processing machine into the Design machine.

    Since upgrading to 9.0.3...IMMA we keep getting the following error:

    'OrderDetail_OrderDetail_OrderDetail_OrderSequenceNumberSequenceNumber' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

    Actinic then locks up and I have to kill it from Task Manager.

    I have imported snapshots to ensure both have the same content (except for the latests downloaded orders) and compacted both databases prior to trying to import.

    I can get round it by using snapshots, but this is a real pain, so was hoping someone may have some other ideas.

    It sounds like a corrupt database.

    Try compacting the database on both machines and if it persists contact actinic support and get them to take a look.

      Thanks Mike,

      Yes we tried compacting both databases, even pulled them into Access and ran a Compact and Repair from there, but didn't seem to help.

      We also get regular lock-ups when uploading, and crashes at the end of the upload process, so perhaps there is some peculiar problem with our database.

      I have to say 9.0.3...IMMA does seem to be very flakey - for us at least.

        you probably need actinic support to take a look at your database
