IMPORTING ORDERS FROM v7 over to V8

Hi

Can anybody tell me the easy way to move all my orders held in V7 over to my new V8 program.

I have both V7 & V8 installed on the same PC
and plan to remove V7 once i have all the orders moved over to V8

Help would be appreciated

In V8 do File / Import Orders.

thanks, where do i find the file for the version 7 orders on my pc to import?
is it just one file ? to import

Unfortunately, Import Orders isn't covered in the Help.

There's brief tooltip help however:

When in the File / Import Orders dialoge click the big [?] that's right next to the close [X] corner. Then click in the Browse button and it will tell you what to do.

Better explanation in V9:
To bring orders in from your old version of Actinic, simply click 'Browse' and select the 'ActinicCatalog.mdb' file that is within your old site folder (usually called 'Site1'). When you click 'Import Orders', all the order data (together with related information) will be brought accross, upgraded and made available within your new version of Actinic.
