All products being deleted when uploading

I have been using Actinic V9 for months now and everything has been fine, but recently I have been doing site uploads and all my product pages and images are being deleted (all .html, .jpg, .gif files in the /acatalog/ folder).

To fix this I have done a site refresh, so it is now working fine.

Does anyone have any idea why Actinic could be deleting all my products?

This has been discussed on the forum, have you read the threads on the subject? Sounds like you need to update to the latest 9.0.3.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't seen these threads. Do you have a link?

I don't no, not without searching myself, but they are to do with 903, very recent and in this forum so you won't have to look very far i expect.

I have seen exactly the same problem over the last couple of weeks. When we upload our site on a few occasions actinic has decided to delete all the content from our acatalog folder (images, html pages, css etc) and then crash. Then we have to re-upload the whole website again which takes well over an hour!

This is not related to the bug in v9.0.3 ILXA (which producs blank pages) as we are still running 9.0.2.

Which version of actinic are you running ma111 ?

I am using 9.0.2 as well.

I have been using the same version of Actinic for months and have done hundreds of successful uploads, so I don't know why this problem has started happening recently.

What I did find even more strange is when I did the last upload I had added about 3 new products. It uploaded the images only for these new products. But everything else was deleted (products, images, javascript, css etc).

            What could be causing this?
