    Google Conversion Tracking

Please can anyone give me some advise on how and where to place the coding for Google Conversion Tracking.

Placing the Analytic code isn't a problem but I want to make sure the Conversion code goes into the correct place, as it needs to go into a product page and the receipt page.

Conversion tracking is the same as analytics - you just need to set up your analytics account correctly so you can see your conversion stats. If you read the help file within Actinic, it tells you exactly how to do this.

I am sorry But I disagree. Google analytics is very simple to place into the actinic site and is working fine.

For Google conversion tracking to work properly it needs to be placed into two pages.

a start page eg the page a ppc click lands on and the receipt page the page that confirms the order.

when the visitor completes a purchase from a ppc click this is then counted as a conversion.

I have placed the code into the two pages within the body but it is still not working

Actinic v9 handles this for you through the built-in integration with Google Analytics. You don't need to place any additional code, and if you do, you may get spurious results.

For earlier versions, there are existing posts on the Community:

We are talking about adwords conversion tracking here which is NOT in v9. What is in v9 is analytics ecommerce conversion tracking which is completely different

It's pretty strightforward but the usual problem is not using the reciept page layout in site options.
