    mf000001.pl?ACTION=SHOWFORM

    Hi Everyone,

My contact page seems to have stopped working. i have tried to revert to factory settings on the bulk contact layout, i have also perged, refreshed.

When i click send it just goes to a white page and nothing else.

I have also tried setting up a brochure page here http://onlinepackagingshop.co.uk/aca...ontact-us.html and its the same result.

    Can anyone spot the problem?

This is still happening after trying just about everything all day. I am starting to think this is to do with the server??

    Help.

Use www version of your url in ALL network settings, see if that solves it.

              "Lee just tested.
" The server returned an invalid or unrecognised responce" Popup box, when i click ok i get another popup showing.
"The test script failed to execute on the web server. The error could be caused by several things. Check the path to the Perl shell, the CGI script extension, the path to CGI-BIN, and the CGI-BIN URL. This error could also occur if your web site is out of disk space or your web server is not configured to accept POSTs to CGI scripts."

Have you seen this before Lee?

Seen it a thousand times, your settings do not seem to be correct or they were and something has changed on your server. Unless you get a passed test message and an email to confirm that, forget spending any time anywhere else other than in that dialog getting the test to pass. See if the correct settings for your host are in the forum and check yours against those. You must pass the test, period. Use the network configure wizard if you get stuck, that can sometimes help.

Please tell me you are not using fasthosts.

Run the wizard and all seems well until the email setup.

                    Then i get a popup.

" The wizard received an unexpected exception while testing the servers Perl environment the server returned an invalid or unrecognised response."

My path to perl has never changed and i have checked via cpanel and its correct.

Post your network settings (without passwords obviously) and maybe someone can see an error in them.
Export as a txt file and paste the contents into your post.
