I used the KB code just last week and it worked fine (used it a few times in fact), something strange going on, maybe an underlying problem or possibly a PBKAC?

Code in post #12 doesn't work (lots of javaScript errrors due to the extraneous newlines). Code from the KB http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=44926 is correct.

Nothing you did was wrong.

You possibly had it emailed to you and email clients are notorious for sticking in newlines without warning.

Or it came from a duff version of the Advanced Guide. I've seen code there that's also had extraneous newlines added.
