V8 Disk I/O Error on read - reviewing files

    Hi all,

Ive got a problem when uploading the catalog, gets to Reviewing Files stage and bombs with a "Disk I/O Error on read"

I cant locate any files with errors....

Anyone seen this before and have any ideas? No luck doing a search in the forums.

Sounds like hard disk not actinic to me. I'd get it backed up rather sharpishly if I were you.

Yup, no reason why not to go for a Raid array nowadays - especially on a PC with important data. Still, never forget to backup early, backup often. Raid will reduce your "crash and burn" rate, but still isn't 100% reliable. A project for me to look at after X-Mas
