Hi Everyone,
I use a V9.02 Multi User System on 3 PC's.... A main PC and 2 Client PC's. Main PC and One of the clients are on XP and the other client is on VISTA.
The Main PC and the VISTA Client Work OK, but the other client works for a while theng hangs with an error that says
"There was a problem with the database
Operation: Opening the [OrderDetail] table where OrderSequenceNumber = 15572 sorted by nSequenceNumber
Disk or network error.
Action: Contact your Actinic reseller or Actinic Support as appropriate
When you accept that message you get another one saying
"The microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot find the table or query 'Order history' Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly."
Accept that message and both meesges repeat again and again but for all the other table names in the database.
Reboot the PC's and it all works again... until it crahes with same thing an hour later.
The PC's are all on the same network hub and the connection still works on the client PC as websurfing and ping tests still work even when the Actinic DB error is present. So it seems the card/cable/TCPIP part is working.
Anyone got any thoughts?
Cheers,
Mark.
