    No Heading Tags Found?

    Hi,

We just did a SEO report at http://website.grader.com/

and it picked up on our headings.

    Our site is here: http://www.gofrostfire.com/acatalog/...f_moonbag.html

We add titles to our pages etc. but the test said No Headings Found.

Am i not understanding the headings tags properly?

To be honest i am only interested in the heading tags for SEO purposes.

    regards
    Chris

I put that page through their test and it said 1 heading found. So I've no idea what your problem is.

if you really want to do something for SEO then get rid of 'copy_of' page names and use something a bit more relevant.

      Chris,

Not entirely sure why it's telling you this as you have populated both the <title> and <h1> tags.

I have a website template I keep on a server with XHTML valid and HTML 4.1-valid versions uploaded, these are both perfect in terms of SEO tags, yet they also fail this Website Grader scan you reference.

My money's on failures on their part, not yours

LOL Mike, he's addressing that in another thread.

The headings are not the same as your page titles. Your section titles are held within <h1></h1> tag, which defines the heading. I've just run your site through and it is finding the heading no probs as the others have already said.

I think I see where the problem lies. Did you generate a report for the URL you posted or for http://www.gofrostfire.com

Your home page is made up of images, rather than text,. There are ow fragment headings, etc, so on that particular page it returns a "No Heading Found" message.
