Preview Store

Hi guys,

Just started to sort out our v7 site on v9, snapshot has coming in fine, clean skin approach.

However, when going to 'Preview Store' it comes up with an error window 'Business Plus'

After cross-checking the locations in all zones, some countries have been found in the Shipping Zones that are not a member of the Tax zones.

A full list of the invalid locations is given below or you can view them in Notepad by clicking 'View'

To correct this problem, please check the following:

- if you ship to the USA/Canada, check that they are included in the 'No Tax Levied' zone or that 'Do not allow 'None of the above' as a zone member' is un-ticked

- using the 'Limit by Location' option for your payment methods can also cause this problem so check in 'Settings | Business Settings | Payment and Security tab' to review your configuration.

Guernsey is used in Shipping but is not selected for any Tax zone.
Jersey is used in Shipping but is not selected for any Tax zone.

Then you click on view it shows a location_error.txt file:

We have only 3 members of a VAT Tax Zone being England, Wales & parts of Scotland; Highland & Islands and Northern Ireland.

It is correct saying that Guernsey and Jersey aren't set up as that is the case.

Anyway, the upshot of this, it will not view, any suggestions please.

Hi

If you have them listed as a "Shipping Zone member" (you can see the members of a zone by right clicking on a zone and going to properties) in Settings | Business Settings | Shipping and Handling then you must have then as "Tax zone member" (clicking on the edit zone button will bring up the members) in Settings | Business Settings | Tax as well.

I know that you said this happens when previewing the store not sure why this is happening though. But make this correction if necessary and see if it helps.

Hi I have checked and the only member are the ones I said above being:

England, Wales & parts of Scotland; Highland & Islands and Northern Ireland

And shipping is currently set to 'Simple' so still a bit suck.

Just a wild shot would it be possible for you to switch to advanced shipping do the check's i suggested, remove the locations if necessary and the set it back to simple shipping and see what happens.
