Sales Analysis Not Consolidating Products

I have come across a possible problem with the Sales Analysis report in v903.

Some product items are not being consolidated into the totals in the report. For example Product A may show 2 units sold but further down the report there is another line for Product A showing another unit sold. This is the same for a few Products in the report.

Has anyone come across this before?
Is there any reason why this should be happening?

Or

Possibly the same item sold at a different price or VAT level?

I don't believe they are duplicates (and if they were I would expect it to be a bug).
The pricing is the same and the sample I've been shown is before the VAT change came into effect.

I have got to the bottom of this. It appears that the Actinic user here has duplicated products in different sections. What they have done is actually copied the product and generated a new product with the same short description but with a different product reference - instead of creationing a standard duplciuate of the parent product.
