Random test email sent by website

I've received a random test email today from my website:

"This is the test message from Actinic Catalog.
The email address and SMTP server you specified in the network preferences are correct."

I didn't trigger it so I don't now what did. Is there anything I need to look at?

Do you have a web developer who's working on your site as well perhaps?

We suffered from this for months earlier this year - after contacting support we were advised to change the script ID number (in Network Settings), purge, compact and refresh the site - this fixed it and we haven't had a Test e-mail since.

It's been discussed before. Check for the test script (ts000000x.pl ) on your server. This should have been deleted after testing but sometimes appears to still be in place

Thanks, I'll have a look for it. It's been months since I did a test so if it is still there, I don't know what triggered it.
