Going mad? Displaying discounts

Im sure im going mad here..

Can somebody confirm if it is or isn't possible to display a % off discount price next to the normal price in the product layout. Im sure I did it in a V7 site many moons ago.

Or is it only displayed in the cart?..if so I can't believe a standard feature like this isn't included in Actinic.

Maybe theres a way of doing this in php?

Thanks for that, however the problem I have is that there are 2000 products on this store, so I can't go through and change / add a new price for each, the product group also doesn't contain certain sections. Ideally the code would be something like...(I don't know php so this is designer speak

If product group="sale" display "retailprice" with % off
else
If no product group, display retailprice

that kind of thing lol
