A modified packing list might do the job. Perhaps if half the A4 was a label and the other half containing the order number, customer name and ordered items etc.

It depends how much info you need on the packing list. Another consideration is how your packing process goes - for example can you print two copies of the invoice, one for picking and one for the customer (or even the same piece of paper for both) - that would free up the packing list report.

You would still need a modified report cutomised to suit and it would also only be sure to work on your current Actinic version - it may need redoing if you upgraded Actinic.

The best solution is to replace the packing list report with a label report that prints to a label printer. Duncan can probably write a report for you and you can pick label printers quite cheaply. Then, whenever you print a packing list report from Actinic you get a label printed. I think that this has been suggested in the thread already.

You don't need to buy OSOP to print a label report, I only mentioned it because someone else had and I wanted to clarify what it did.

With regard to my paper and my software, I'm a terrible sales person and would always prefer to recommend a more suitable solution that one that is not so good but might make my company some money - in fact I think that is why we are sucessful, honesty gets you long term customers rather than a quick buck.

Trouble is we need to print the picking list on order download, but the label only after we print the invoice as there is often 24 hours between the two and the labels would either get lost or out of order

That makes it trickier, perhaps Duncans suggestion of an integrated sheet with a larger label with no frills packing info at the top would resolve it then.

Or, how about getting the invoice changed so that it shows number ordered rather than number shipping and then replacing the packing list with a label report for a label printer - that might work.
