Discount on product: step by step

    Hi,

    I'm looking for help:

As I'm Belgian, I don't understand all the words in the forum, it's why I add this thread certainly already treated, but....

I'd like to add a discount to my products following the quantities purchased. Is there someone to explain step by step .

I'd like to add a discount of :

    -) 5% for a purchase of 12 items to 23
    -) 15% for a purchase of 24 to 100 items.

I'd like also that the different price appear next the product with the mention -5% if the quantity is 12-23
-15% if the quantity is 24 to 100

I'd like to add this discount to a part of my products, not to all the products.

Thank you very much, and I present my apologies for my English language not very good.

    Best Regards,

    Mllco

This capability in not in Catalog. You need at least Designer.

If you have a suitable version then read the main Help for "Quantity-Based Pricing".

To set things up, look on your Product Details / Prices panel.

You normally set up different unit prices for each quantity (instead of discount percentages). So you would have (say):

    Min Price
    -- $100
    12 $95
    24 $85

      Hi Norman,

I'm using Actinic Business 8.5.2. I have found in the Actinic Main help and Quantity-Based Pricing. I have tried to do what they suggest, but the problem is that I have no possibility to change the quantity in the Prices panel ( I have joined a picture).

      Any other help?

      Thank you very much,

      Bruno

Try adjusting the widths of the columns in your screen shot. I had the same problem once when the quantity column was completely closed and therefore hidden.

Thank you very much...that's the solution.

But, is there another solution, because I propose a lot of articles, and I prefer to do find a more easy way.

If I built a new "products group", what have I to do to add to these products directly the discount
          -) 5% for a purchase of 12 items to 23
          -) 15% for a purchase of 24 to 100 items....

          Thank you very much,

          Bruno

You are posting in the V9 forum so you may get answers that are slightly different from V8.

Don't worry, Norman, the post was duplicated in the V8 forum too

Grrr... Anyway, everything Bruno's trying to do is in the Help so perhaps he should be looking there.

                  Hi Norman,

Of course I have checked also in the "Help".....

But, as English is not my first language, it's for me not so easy to find the solution. It's why I have posted a Thread with in the title the words " step by step" :

                  Cheers,

                  Bruno

I appreciate the problem you may have, but are you expecting someone in the forum to write the answer in Belgian? If not, then what more can a predominantly English forum do, that an English help file cannot.
