Discounts - "please enter a number" when using Quantity as trigger?

This bug is fixed in version 10.

So what happens to us that are still using version 9 then? To be honest this is a BAD Bug. Something like this shouldn't happen on something so important as discounts.

Using the work around only works so far as if the customer puts more that two it doesn't work properly.
