Change home page to product page

Hi all
Hope you can help me a would like to change my home page to show up as the products page when you go to www.jaytrade.co.uk I have searched the forum and cant find info is this possible and advisable thanks in advance.

It has been detailed on the forum a number of times, but it is not advisable anyway, use your home page and your shop top as 2 separate pages on which to market your website.

Just thought when Google hit the page it would find more relevant info in the descriptions

I.e. Chefs Clothing
Professional Clothing For The Catering Industry. Chefs Jackets, Trousers And Hats, Aprons, Tabards, Money Pockets, Restaurant Uniforms,

You may get some different opinions, but for me the home page should never be removed, it's a key page on any website. As to the content on that page, you are in complete control of that, so if that's what you want on your first page, then put it on there yourself using fragments. There is a brochure page and fragment tutorial on my site if you need a bit of assistance in that area.
