Orphan Check Report - Properties with no valid product reference

    You guessed it.

Our annual catalogue changes came along, with many of last years ranges gone, we created a brand new category which includes all of the new ranges (a couple are the same ranges as last year, but we still took a brand new approach).

Once this was completed, I deleted last years TLS, and set up htaccess redirects and uploaded. Closed down Actinic at the end of the day, rebooted this morning and got this:

    OrphanCheckReport

Properties with no valid product reference:
    -------------------------------------------
The '################' has an invalid product reference '################' and has therefore been deleted.

This happens every time Actinic opens. I've compacted the database and it still occurs.

The only occurrence of this issue I can find is in the Archives from 5 years ago, and even then, '###############' is usually a real value, such as 'Price 4' has an invalid reference '1!150'

We do not use duplicate products, which is apparently the cause of this.

Looks like another weeks work wasted on v9.0.3

    Hi Grant,

I sounds like something hasn't been removed from the database that was deleted. Did you purge the content or just cut items from it?

      Hi Tracey

Thanks for the reply. Initially I cut the sub sections individually (one, then the other) and then compacted the database. Upon re-opening Actinic this issue is what I received.

Seems strange that the error reported doesn't give values ('############' as opposed to 'Price3')

Instead of waiting a week for tech support to solve the issue, I started back with my snapshot from a few days before and re-did all the work over the weekend. This time ensuring I just marked the categories as 'Delete'. I find 9.0.3 so unstable that I don't even want to risk Purging the database now tbh, so will leave these desolate categories be.

Let me know if it's in Actinic's interest to have the DMP file records from this site, I've got approx 40 from the past 2 weeks.

      Thanks,
      Grant

It would be useful to have dump files for any crashes experienced but if they are all created by you doing the same thing then we would only need to have the latest one and some details as to what you were doing before the crash happened. You can send them through to me at tgsupport [@] actinic [dot] co [dot] uk and if you've recently sent in a snapshot for any of your other issues let me know who you've sent it to so I can pass that onto development too.
