Adding code to the sales receipt page

Hi there, we would like to track a bit more info about some of the sales we have. We would like to have a some script added to the sales receipt page - any suggestions on how to go around doing that ? thank you.?

Google Analytics is good enough for 99% of sites, what extra do you need on top of that? If you are on V9 it is already integrated for you also.

Yes we have already have Google Analytics added to it.....but we have a client who really wants this code added....so we need that (i do what im asked lol). Anyway i can just add it to the sales page? Is it possible?

Well the receipt page is selectable on the design tab, so in theory you can add anything you like to it, you may need to use a blockif so the code is only on that page. Are you struggling with what to do or where to put it? With minimal info provided it's hard to picture or guide you on what is required.
