Missing Fields in Checkout after 9.3 upgrade

Hi Guys,

At first I thought all was good after the upgrade (Business 2 user licence) but things started to go wrong yesterday.

Any how, after a few reinstalations things seem to be ok but this morning I came to look at a couple of other secondary sites that I run through Actinic and after doing the Protx Upgrade changes (Updating OCC Upgrade file etc), I did an upload to find that you cant check out because when you fill in checkout page 1 (os000010.pl) the Names fields are missing from the form and as such you get the following error:

"Last Name:" is required.
"First Name:" is required."

Any help would be appreiated as I've searched the site but cannot find any reference to the problem. The anoying thing is that i'm sure this occured before but I cant remember what I did to fix it

I would think that either comparing the layouts or reverting them would be the best start.

Design > Library > Layouts > Checkout Area
you don't say if it's the Invoice Address Fields or the Delivery ones but right click on these and either select "Compare with previous version" to see if you can spot anything amiss or "Revert to Factory Settings" to change it back to standard ACtinic code.

Likely the latter would fix it (when you get the right layout, whichever is affected) but, if your html/code knowledge is good, you may be able to fix by comparing first which would mean you won't lose any customisation you might have in this area

Thanks for the reply... I have a backup of the site prior to running the upgrade , so is there a file I can simply drop in to replace?

Thanks Lee, Problem is that it doesnt seem to make any difference, i.e. resetting back to the factory settings still leaves out the name fields. As things seemed fine pre upgrade I was wondering if I could just overwrite with the old files some how.

try a different layout?
If you revert them ALL (the checkout ones, obviously) I don't see how it can't fix it.

This is something silly like a font colour clash is it? Have you changed any themed colours?

Thanks Lee, I just checked that and no they are not turned off. I restored to fqctory settings the invoice check out in the design libary as well and no luck

I just took a look at another site too and they have disapeared on that one too so it seems to be something to do with the 9.3 upgrade... weird

Close down actinic and the restart it, they might reappear then.
