External Excel Sheet

I have been using an external excel sheet to control 'Price' and 'Stock In Hand', It works fine but now I would like to add 'Weight in Kg' but this option is not in the list. Can I add it? Also if I can will the input format for 168g be '168' I guess it would be but thought I should check.

'Shipping Data' is the field for the product weight.

As the weight is in kg, then 168 would be 168kg. You should enter it as 0.168 to turn it into grammes.

Before I go ahead. When I produce this coloum in my external spread sheet, what will happen to the product weights that I already have in Actinic? will their weight values be lost? I only want to add external spread sheet values to my new products.

The linked file's values will be used instead of those in Actinic - so make sure that the linked file's values and those in Actinic match at the outset. If you unlink the file later the values will revert back to the original Actinic ones.
