    too large for Excel ?

Apologies in advance if this is a basic question............but we recently acquired a company that runs V8, so I am not terribly familiar with it.
I want to change thge description and prices for one of the "permutations".

From what I have read, this is easiest done as a hierarchal file/csv in excel. I tried this and got errors (no info in header ?)........so after more reading, I think I understand that I have to go back to Excel 2003 to be able to import.

Now my problem is that the catalog exceeds 64k lines - so too big for Excel2003.

I'm nervous about splitting the catalog file or messing with it - especially as I am really only planning on doing a basic "find and replace"
Do you have any wisdom/suggestions ??

    thx in advance.

Try CSVed - I think that can do it:
