duplicate content on Online catalogue page

The section headings were appearing on the Online Catalogue page OK and I wanted a welcome paragraph to appear at the top of each page. I created it as a fragment and copied and pasted it in each section which worked fine, but when I came to add it to the Catalogue page it would only go to the bottom of the page under all the sections.

I tried copying and pasting again and somewhere along the line I have ended up with two lots of section headings with the welcome text in the middle. How do I get rid of one set of headings and keep the welcome text at the top.

At the same time I've repeated this with another section heading with it's sub-section contents..duh

Correction. It has worked!!

after about 10 attempts it seems it depends on the way you have the section heading selected and the way you hold your mouth.

There are two section lists that appear, one with ten options in the section list and another with six both with the Bottom sub section layout and Top subsection layout.
