I think there is only you that wouldn't get the 90% comment, but i will explain just in case there is any more confusion. You need a HTML expert/guru (actinic web designer in other words) to solve your issue, not a site owner. Site owners are generally useless at html as they sell products not design sites or fix problems. Your issue is HTML, not Actinic.

Yeah,
Ive re-uploaded the V7 site.
The V9 is how i got it back from actinic support. (sent me the snapshot)
But i can still see these few outstanding issues, Even if someone just tells me the template or where i edit.
im not asking anyone to do it for me, or asking for a complete walkthrough.

its how actinic works is what im not up to speed with.
I do not need a html expert or a guru like yourself, but just someone who has come across the issue. God you are so up your own backside.

Then I suggest you get back to them again or get stuck in learning about v9.Originally posted by mythandmagic View Post...The V9 is how i got it back from actinic support. (sent me the snapshot)...
After v7 Actinic changed completely. You now need to look in the Design tab and click on elements to see the underlying code rather than open templates as in v7 and earlier.Originally posted by mythandmagic View Post...Even if someone just tells me the template or where i edit. ...
Debugging an upgraded v7 can be quite a task and it is usually quicker and easier just to import products into the standard v9 site.
We are talking from experience here we're not just being 'difficult' as you seem to think.

Have a look in the knowledge base, it is a wealth of information but unfortunately largely under used.
You also have if using V9 the how to button that again you may find useful.www.parklifeclothes.co.uk

First make a snapshot of the site, make a backup of the complete Site1 folder and export the catalog to csv. Then uninstall Actinic and reinstall again - that will take you back to a default store.Originally posted by mythandmagic View PostHow do i start again in V9 and remove the site thats built there totally ?
From then on change the theme to what you want upload it in test mode as it is and make sure it working. Then import your catalog of products and test again. Make lots of snapshots along the way.
Get the basics working working first before making any design changes. Experiment with changing some items in the Design tab and see the effects.
I stress - make lots of snapshots - you can't have too many.
Use Firefox with the Firebug add-in to Inspect and diagnose any issues.

If you follow only one bit of advice follow the above to the letter, if you don't and come back with problems you're very likely to be shot!!Originally posted by drounding View Postmake lots of snapshotswww.parklifeclothes.co.uk

hehehe.........
ok...lots of snapshots.
So, with a totally new template in V9.
one question please.
If i export just the products snapshot from V7 and import just the product snapshot into V9...will it keep the products structure ?
or do i need to build the stucture first. (I mean all the sections/titles etc)
