My site usually has 2 of each product for sale. I wish, therefore to ensure that people cant try to purchase 3. What should i put in the "stock in hand", "warn if below" and "suspend orders if below" fields. It would appear to be obvious but i am finding that people can order more stock than I possess. Thanks.

turn on 'stock monitoring'
rather ensure it isnt off under business settings, and is ON in the product:
on the Business Settings > Options tab, ensure Stock monitoring is not disabled. use 1 and 1 for the defaults ont he right
In the product, under the Stock tab, tick the Stock Monitoring box
under the Details tab put int he min quantity as 1 and max as 2
That should do it.
