Changed our design last December to a fresh look
Funny think last night, a customer phoned up and said the site was not accepting cards, seemed strange as orders comming through all afternoon. Checked she was on our site etc
After much talking and checking told customer to just select send card details by post and we would take card details over the phone
She then did this and received a automatic confirmation email from us with order number etc
We then downloaded and found nothing, order number quoted was a verry old number, checked all sites still no sign of the order, not in pending or pending payment etc. Customer getting a bit upset after about 20 mins
Eventually asked customer what the site looked like she said Green and Yellow, This was the old colour design (she was a old returning customer)
Told her to control R a couple of times she then reported the new design placed an order and all ok
When we changed design we did do a complete refresh and a couple of times since, guess it was in her memory bwhich explaines the first few pages but not every page until being sent to PSP, and where on earth did the very old invoice number and email generation come from
Only conclusion is that as we did not get any snow the computers and server went dodledady as it was upset to miss out
