    Unencrypted message when adding product

    Hi,
I have my shop working fine on Internet Explorer, but when I test in Firefox I get an warning when I add a product into the cart. i.e.

    https://www.leisurebuildings.com/aca...tal-sheds.html

    The message says:-
'The information you entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could be read by a third party. Do you want to continue?

This could put some customers off so is it possible to work around this.

I have ssl on my domain https://www.leisurebuildings.com and all Checkout pages and Login use the secure connection. The only other option is for all pages to be secure which I don't really want to do.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Regards,
    Robin

I use FF3 and do not get any messages about unencrypted data.

However, your table which holds all the Checkout Page 1 info (such as the fields to enter name, address, etc) appears at the bottom of the page, with the top half of the page just a large blank area.

Security-wise I don't see any issues with your checkout - I do see a few major layout issues, though.

Download Firebug for Firefox - this will help you find which layouts are breaking.

      Hi,
      Thank you for your reply.
I was using Firefox 2 and I have now updated to Firefox 3 and there are no warnings showing which is a relief.
Thank you for the note about the Check out page, I will take a look.
      Regards,
      Robin

        Robin,

Take the outside view here - just because you've upgraded to FF3, what about all your customers who still use FF2? You need to investigate all of the cross-browser issues.

          Hi,

Thanks for that, although I think it is a problem with Firefox 2 as I tried the same thing on 4 other sites and that produced the same message.

I also went on to Google and entered a something in the Search Box and it also produced the same message. No shop, Actinic or purchase involved.

          Regards,
          Robin

when using FF2, navigate to a https page, examine the ssl cert, this will list the non secure items - you can then resolve from here
