Actinic Link Hanging and locking up

Hello All,

I have tried searching for some documentation on this problem for some time now to no avil.

Bassically when we transfere actinic orders over to our sage software it locks and hangs up. It only allows me to transfere 1 order at a time, after it has fail once completely.

It used to work fine, ie transfere 8 orders in on go. Now like i said it locks up after 1 and i have to go through the whole process of control+alt+del

Like i said it used to work fine and i have been trying to tweek it and fix it over the last 6 months but now its becoming unbearable with the shear influxs of orders and becomming very time consuming.

It failed to work properly ever since i had reinstall to the product.

It could be the .CSV cause i created these manually as i couldn't install them for some reason??

Just downloaded 22 orders and its going to crash 22 times.

the thing i notice is you have b: for you account data

B: drives were always removable drives, im sure it should be something like
c:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\ACCDATA\

The B: drive is just a mapped network drive on our system, I could call it anything.

I have managed to fix the transaction type problem.

But still have the problem, want to fix it so it says 'financial controller' instead of 'Accounts'.

James i would avoid calling it A or B this could cause a conflict, these are reserved for things like floppy drives, thats why hard drives start at C

Sage Professional was known as finacial controller, i think it was changed in the last release.

And i betting you are using the latest version of link?

will try giving it a different drive name, and the version im using is 2.4.1

(setup file is SageLink241KBA)

have you tried an earlier version then, as you dont need support for sage 2009, although min runs that version with sage 2007 and v9

Thats a great idea but i can't seem to find the setup files anywhere,

And if i run from the CD is says please run E:/setup (which is the whole program)

The orginal version seems to Version 1

James your going to need to contact support unless someone here can advise were to get earlier versions, that said i would have still raised a support issue if it has been going on for this long

Hmmm found a couple of old version with no luck.

Does anyone know if Sage 2009 - (which im thinking of upgrading to) has a actinic link setup to work with it yet?
