Cahnging fragment columns cause crash in v9

Tried to change the column count on the home page from 1 to 3 but it causes actinic to crash. Had to delete the site1 folder and install a back-up to get it working again.

I was wondering what I did wrong. Should I delete the current fragments on the page before I change the count?

I must be one of the lucky ones, I'm yet to experience a crash when changing column counts.

One would suspect a dodgy FragmentColumnCount variable, missing a Top Level Section value, perhaps.

You shouldn't need to remove the fragments - I always find when making Layout changes that ensuring the Page Preview is switched off always reduces the likelihood of a crash.
