    Business Addresses Not saving when using postcode anywhere?

    Hi

    When we use (Or the customer uses online) postcoded anywhere, if it is a business/company name as the first line of the address, we are not getting this coming through!

    This is/can cause shipping issues, so we are having to manually check all the time. Anyone had this happen, or know which box I need to tick/untick?

    Do you mean it is not in the downloaded order? Does it appear online for the customer, right through to the receipt?

    This is/can cause shipping issues
    Can you explain what issues this is causing please as the shipping is worked out on 'country'.

      Hi Tracy

      We have postcodeanywhere integrated. It shows the business address to us on offline orders and customer on online orders, but when you select the address, the company name is not being logged.

      The shipping issue is that we dont spot (sometimes it just looks like a residential address) we send it, and then if its on an estate or in a block of offices with various businesses, we end up getting it back 14 days plus later as incorrect address or adressee gone away!

      Just want the company name that postcodeanywhere is showing to populate in actinic.

        The business address is automatically placed into 'Address Line 1' - if this is happening with business addresses then it must be happening to residential addresses (ie. I tested, our company name goes in 'Address Line 1' and street address into 'Address Line 2', residential address - street address goes into 'address line 1' and the village name goes into 'Address Line 2'). I have everything set up the same way as you have and have experienced no issues with Actinic storing, displaying and printing business/residential addresses.

          I remember reading a thread, in the past, where somebody else complained that it wasn't populating the business/company name for OFFline orders but I don't recall seeing mention of online ones also.
          Additionally, I thought it'd been fixed in a V9 update. Which version of V9 are you using, Scott?

            You could have found that yourself, of course, if you'd looked. I thought it HAD been fixed in 9.0.3 but I may be wrong. It's not something I use/need so haven't specifically checked for it in release notes.

              Hi

              For example, I put in my postcode RH13 8AU, look it up, there it is"EDGE & WAX, Unit 15 blah blah) hit select and then my line one is "Unit 15". Just tried it on an offline order, and its doing it as per usual:

                Using 9.0.3, I just checked an online order for a company and the full address is there. Whether or not they used PCA is another story - so continue with the confusion

                LOL - Scott, are you confusing yourself? Your OP stated the problem was with online orders, now you're at offline orders?!

                My Actinic's goosed, so can't tell if this is still a bug in v9.0.3 OFFline orders. Certainly seems OK for online orders.

                    Yepp get it with both. Offline I can sort it while on the phone and override, but online customer doesnt/isnt doing so all the time.

                    I am confused though, I have the manflu and am very sensitive right now (Sorry Tracy)

                      It's still a bug in v9.03 for offline orders. It's not a problem - we just add the missing stuff in.

                          It's not so much Company Names which are missing (the design text mentioned by Tracey is enabled), it's missing lines that are a problem for offline orders. Sorry for confusion.

                          The fields don't get populated correctly - in the MOTO example below, "West Wellow" should follow "Scallows Lane". It does online as you can see.

                            It's not so much Company Names which are missing (the design text mentioned by Tracey is enabled), it's missing lines that are a problem for offline orders. Sorry for confusion.
                            I believe that adding the company field for the OP should sort that out for him, but thanks for posting the images to show up another issue Jules. I'll report this to the development team.

                              I reported the offline problem to CD in v9.0.1 and it is working fine in my V9.0.3 company details are populated for both offline and online.

                              So not so sure this is a bug as such, maybe a problem with the setup
