    choices layout 2

Hi again hope you can help
In the choices drop down box is there a way of not showing (please select size) as a option and show a warning size has not been selected if not selected When ordering

    Thanks

You have created a choice called 'Please select size' - make the HTML name of the Attribute 'Please select size' (ie. this will then appear where it says 'Size:' in bold, above the drop-down list) and remove the initial 'Please select size' choice.

I have an add-on "Choice Validation" that inhibits add to cart and displays a warning if the default option "Please select a size" is left set when the customer tries to buy. This way that option becomes useful and is best left in place.

      Email for details.

Thanks Grant If you remove the (please select size) it then defaults to the 1st size in the list and this may not be the product they actually wanted to order just forgot to select
If you go to this site http://www.dennys.co.uk/ProductGroupItem.asp?PrGrp=391
and try to order it won’t let you unless you make a choice
And this is watt I am trying to achieve

you're not giving your customers much credit! (I'd say more fool them!)

You're better following Norman's advice, in that case

I have many add-ons that I don't list. Email me (via link to the left of here) for details.

NorList should work fine with Smart Theme.
