hi all, just in the midst of creating a new store for a client and all is ok apart from the Search and New product / best seller links do not work.

It comes up with the following error:

A General Script Error Occurred
Error: Error opening the index "../store/oldprod.fil". No such file or directory. The web site is probably being updated. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact us.Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner

I found this thread and tried the suggestions, but its not resolved it.

The site uses SSL, but I don't think thats relevant, its hosted with Easily.

I wonder if anyone has any suggestions.

are you using store as folder name in place of acatalog?

oldfile.fil is an actinic generated file thus i'd try a site refresh

Yes im using store instead, tried a refresh, also did purge and refresh.

Should I be able to find this file locally?

Sorted this, I ftp'd into the space and removed everything, did a purge and refresh and now its working.
