Can't upload or download

When trying to upload or download I'm getting the following message:

Could not delete from specified tables.

Action: Contact your Actinic reseller or Actinic Support as appropriate

Uploaded some product changes on Saturday without any problems and then went to download orders this morning and got this message.
Anyone else seen this or can suggest what I should try first when I get back to it this evening?
Its Actinic Catalog V8 on Vista, been working fine for weeks then this!

Go through the standard housekeeping tasks and a web refresh to start with. If that fails then a purge and refresh. If that fails a script number change and a 'network test' to check all is OK.

If that fails, use your left hand to grab your testacles, squeeze them very hard until you get a tear, then let go and roll back to the database before you added the products as you've clearly screwed something up, too coincidental i'm afraid.

Thanks Lee, I had it in mind to do the full refresh etc.

However the grabbing the testicles bit is a new one on me, do I have to use my left hand?

It's better to grab them yourself than be kicked in them by actinic repeatedly, better the devil you know 'n' all that. I gambled on you being right handed which would be operating the mouse, leaving just the left hand free .

Fixed it, thankfully.

Tried a purge first, but that also errored (can't remember the actual message)
So I did a compress and then a full web refresh and everything now seems to work, but not sure what caused in the first place.

Didn't need to grab testicles at all
