    PayPal Pro

    Hi All,
took a good look around the forum but couldn't see anything saying this so any help would be great.
I have just added Paypal pro to my site and have the following problem.
With everything installed and setup as Paypal say I get the following error.
Customer selects required items, selects paypal for express checkout or what ever the button says, customer logs into paypal, selects required delivery address, clicks continue which should take them onto the payment confirmation screen I believe.
However customer gets page on my site which is totally blank apart from my logo pretty well.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Mark I'm not sure people are going to be able to help you without a URL, but you need to be aware of PCI DSS when using PayPal Pro. I understand that does not comply.

There was a few threads on this in the last couple of months so a couple of searched should tell you more.

I have read a bit today regarding the compliance what a nightmare, anyway I am dealing with that too at the moment.
www.kessockmodels.com if you place an order then pay via paypal (or try too) you will see it all goes horiibly wrong.
Any suggestion as an alternative would be good.
As far as I can tell I am level 4 regarding compliance.
      Cheers.

Okay I add an item to cart, then I'm presented with
        1. Confirm
        2. Checkout Now
        3. PayPal Button
        4. Cancel

Do you mean the page you receive if I click on the PayPal button at this stage? Becasue you haven't actually commited anything to the cart, so there is nothing to pay for.

In addition, if I do confirm at this stage and proceed to checkout, I can go to PayPal and pay using my login details, but will any of the Order Number be carried over as I have not entered any delivery info yet.

I doubt that the customer will be returned to a receipt page either after processing there PayPal Payment, but I am not certain.

Get a decent PSP and put this white elephant to bed. How on earth did the decision get made to use PPP, it's a shocking solution and always has been. Go Worldpay if you are struggling on the merchant account site. Pointless trying to fix a punctured tyre, if it is flat and not legal anyway.

              Hi,
No it was the part after you login to Paypal but don't worry now I am pulling the plug on Paypal due to the non compliance.
Any suggestions on the PCI thing would be good.
I have contacted Systematrix or what ever they are called to start my form or at least get it and will have to get them to scan but first need to get over the capture problem
              Thanks.

Don't accept cc details on your site, just use a PSP then you won't need compliance.

Does moving to Worldpay do this?
                    Thanks.

                      Just thought though.
I would still need to comply as phone orders are also taken meaning that compliance needs still to be done.
                      Unless you know otherwise.
                      Thanks.

There are loads of threads on here about PCI DSS, so a lot of reading I'm afraid.

I use Actinic Payments (Creditcall) because of it's interaction with V9, but your using V8 so it will be no different to using someone like Protx or WorldPay.

However if there's a problem you only have to call one support number if you choose AP.

AP is Actinic Payments ? if so is that compliant for detail capture?
Was going to go V9 but read to many horror stories and the cost is rude considering V8 does what I need for now.
                          Cheers.

MOTO (Telephone Orders) can be processed through AP too, but you'll need another Merchant Account number. I don't know for certain, but I'd imagine that's similar for other PSPs too.
