    Unable to download orders

    Hi all,

Just to give you the background first...

We have a website that we've just upgraded from version 8 to the newest version. We also had a few problems with our ssl certificate (our host migrated the server we were on!) which we've just rectified. Now I'm unable to download any orders.

When I click on the retrieve orders button the message comes up:

"An attempt was made to access an order past its end."

I then click ok and the next message comes up:

"Unexpected EOF found when reading an order".

I clicked ok again and the following message comes up:

"An error occurred while downloading order number LW20PN10000169.
The order may have been corrupted in transfer from the server.

Press Retry to reattempt the download of that order.

Press Skip to ignore that order and continue with the download of other orders from your web site.

Press Remove to remove that order from the set awaiting download.
It will remain on your web site renamed as LW20PN10000169.ordx, in case you need to undertake further investigation.

Press Abort to cancel the download operation and leave all unprocessed orders on the web site.

    Possible Causes:
    - Network error at the time the order was created
    - Low web space (if happening for all orders) – contact your host to check this."

There's 10 orders to download, is there any possible way I can get hold of them?

UPDATE: I've got a list of all 10 order numbers and removed them from the website as suggested in the last error message it gave me. Does anyone know how I can get to these orders?

    Thanks.

hopefully you didnot remove the files .ordx, have you renamed these back to .ord and tried to download again?

hopefully you haven't deleted both the .ord and .ordx files - if you have then your only hope is the info held by your psp.

      ditto what Jo says.

Were the orders placed in V9 or was the website still running in V8 when they were placed?

V8 orders will not download into v9. This is a common error message and I assume you have tried all the suggestions on related threads
